PLM Cranes B.V. is specialized in designing and manufacturing first class cranes for the dredging, heavy lift, hoisting and stevedoring industry. Our strength is the ability to translate specific customer requirements into the design of the equipment. Key words for our cranes are: competitive pricing, strong, duty cycle and low maintenance.
We have more than 50 years of experience in operating, manufacturing and designing cranes. Most works are realized in house as we have a CNC-cutting machine (24x3M), a shed for sandblasting work (23x15x5.3m) and a cabin for conservation. This makes our factory unique in its kind. A dedicated team of engineers, construction workers, welders and assembly workers is at your service. We like a good challenge and will do our utmost to find you the best solution.

Drives
PLM Cranes B.V. is specialized in all sorts of drives:
Diesel-Hydraulic
One diesel engine in the Diesel-Hydraulic driven crane powers up to serveral hydraulic circuits depending on the application. Linear motions are executed by hydraulic cylinders or rope winches, rotary motions by wheel and travel drives and by slewing and swivelling drives.
Diesel-Electric
A diesel-electric driven crane can be assembled with diesel engines, alternators and electric motors and matching gearboxes. The alternators and electric motors can be supplied in air-cooled and liquid-cooled models. Motion sequences are also controlled and monitored by electronics and control technology. They include various operating and display units along with complete A/C and D/C switchgear in the megawatt range.
Electric-Hydraulic
One electric motor in the electric-hydraulic driven crane powers up to several hydraulic circuits depending on the application. Linear motions are executed by hydraulic cylinders or rope winches, rotary motions by wheel and travel drives and by slewing and swivelling drives.
Fully Electric
A fully electric driven crane is connected to shore and all moving components are driven by electric motors. Zero emission and no hydraulic fluids.
